How To Switch From Methadone To Soboxone?
I was on 120 mg of Methadone for the past year. I walked off the Clinic, went to my private Dr. & got Soboxone. My question is how many days do I need to wait to swich, so I don t throw myself into withdrawl? It s been 3 days without Methadone, is it safe to take it now, or should I wait longer?

What you are doing is wrong.
METHADONE is switched to SUBOXONE at the dose of 30 mg of METHADONE and not 120 mg of METHADONE because you will have serious withdrawal symotoms.
Schedule of shifting ....
You have to gradually reduce and taper the dose of 120 mg of methadone to 30 mg of methadone.
After coming down to 30 mg you quit it and wait for 72 hours and then SUBOXONE started.
It is better to consult the de addiction specialist or centre to achieve this.
