How To Test The Development Of Hip Bone Post Replacement Surgery?

My husband had hip ball socket replacement surgery after a fall in September of 2014. He recovered well and has done fine since that time. However, there have been many advertisements about hip replacement failures and we don t know what kind of replacement he had. We can t even remember the Dr s name. How can we check this out?

Dear patient
If you are normal and don't have any complaints pertaining to your operated hip than everything is fine. replacement prosthesis do have a life and may last upto 20 years depending on many factors. If you want to check xray of the hip anteroposterior and frog leg views may be done to check for the condition of prosthesis.
