Hi

Thank you for writing to HCM

As of now there is no definitive treatment for retinitis pigmentosa. However treatment with vitamin A and acetazolamide or doraolmide are known to prevent the loss of vision and safe guard the existing vision thus avoiding blindness.
For this you need to consult your retina specialist for examination and appropriate treatment according to the stage of the disease.

Thank you
