How To Treat A Baby With Fits?

dear sir, my female 5 months baby was affected by fits and she was admitted in IRCU for 18 days.Before fits she is very active but now she can not see straight the caller. she will not laugh.Nearly 30 days in pediatric ward. she can move Legs and hands.Head is not come stead. sometime legs are jerking.During jerking both eys are going one side for few seconds after that it will come normal.Now, she is 8 months baby.Doctor advised to give Gardinal tablets daily and physiotheraphy. Fits affected time they took CT scan and found some disturbance in the brain .How long it will take for curing.Is there any further treatment is required to bring the baby in normal.Pleas advice me what i have to do and my family is awaiting for your reply sir. baby age:8months weight: 8.7kgs regards,k.velu

I can understand your concerns.
In my opinion the time taken for your baby to become normal will depend on the diagnosis of her condition and the damage that has been caused to the brain tissue which is evident on the MRI.
In addition to gardenal and physiotherapy start audio visual stimulation program to promote her visual following and fixation and auditory response.
