Hello, my daughter went to the er 4 days ago for a boil on her butt. The doctor lased it but only blood came out, they packed it but the packing fell out, it was not even a inch long ( the packing). Now it is still there with just a little drainage about a pea size(bloody, clear mixture). It hurts to the touch, she is scared of having it treated again because of the needle they used to numb it
I have gone through your query and it seems to be furuncle which is a bacterial infection of the hair follicle.
I would recommend you to give her an oral antibiotic like cefixime and apply fusidic acid cream on the affected area twice daily for 5-7 days. This should heal it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
