How To Treat A Hand Injury?

Bumped back of hand and it now has puffy bump on vein same color as vein like it ruptured under skin or something . Middle finger is very tingley. Have put ice on hand but it is not going down,and not getting bigger.I am fifty five and was kayaking. Hit my hand bringing boat up on shore. Aim in good health.
