MY NAME IS CHARIS, I AM 34YRS OLD, I HAD MY 1ST BABY THRU C.S AND MY BABY IS 2YRS NOW, I VE NOT CONCIEVED BUT STARTED TRYING SINCE BABY WAS 6MONTHS OLD,GONE FOR SCAN THEY SAID MY UTERUS IS ANTEVERTED WITH A CENTRALLY PLACED WELL ROUNDED HYPERECHOIC MASS SEEN WITHIN MEASURES 71MM X 56MM, SO CAN IT BE ABLE TO STOP ME FROM CONCEIVING AND WHAT MEDICAL TREATMENT CAN I TAKE?.... According to your description, the mass you mentioned could be a fibroid.
And yes, fibroid can affect the chances of fertility.
As it is centrally placed, it can lead to defective implantation.
Because of larger size, sometimes it can occulde the passage of spermatozoa, ovum, zygote etc.
If you conceives also, fibroid can cause problem in pregnancy.
Fibroid will grow during pregnancy.
That can lead to complications like red degeneration, premature uterine contractions, miscarriage etc.
