How To Treat A Knot And Bruise On Finger Caused Due To A Cut?

Back in september, while cutting potatoes, i managed to smash my pinky finger and noticed days later there was a knot on the joint at the tip of it. I can bend it. No problems with mobility but its rough, a bruise like color over it, and has been there since and hasnt healed at all. Should i be concerned?

I really appreciate your concern, such appearance of the wound could be due to infection and it may need some antibiotic and wound need to be examined for any puss collection in my opinion better to see the doctor for proper line of treatment, hope this information helps, take care
