How To Treat A Nose Block With Dizziness Caused By Head Injury?
Hi there, last night I was playing football with some friends and one of my friends kicked the ball hard and I headbutted it and soon after I felt quite dizzy and my nose started running. I have woke up after a few hours sleep and my nose is blocked and When i blow my nose this clear mucus comes down. Any suggestions?
You may have suffered a traumatic tear in the brain/spinal cord lining allowing cerebrospinal fluid to escape. If you are still having headaches (especially when changing from lying to standing) which then, go ahead quickly if you were to lie down then, you need to see a doctor (preferably a neurologist). They will examine you and if necessary send you to get the leak patched. At the very least you will get a good examination for what also may be a mild concussion.
