How To Treat A Swollen Ankle That Has Turned Black?

i recently was stepping off of my four wheeler and i stepped into a hole and hurt my ankle. not only is my ankle swollen and bruised , but my toes have even turned black now and it is starting to bruise all the way up to my knee so far. what should i do about this

I would suggest you to see a orthopaedic surgeon as early as possible. you have not mentioned that since when you had this injury but it looks to me that it is developing compartment syndrome. till you show to doctor, keep your foot elevated over a pillow. take brufen tablet and apply ice.
