How To Treat Abdominal Bloating, Stomach Pain And Constipation While On Concerta?

Hi I have a son who is 20 he is suffering from ADHD and Depression he is currently taking Concerta. A month ago he started having pains in his stomach, so bad he called 911 last night. He thinks he is bloated and also gets constipated? he is very concerned can you help? thanks

Hello,

Concerta can cause constipation or stomach pain as side effects. I suggest using Simethicone medication to relieve the bloating. If the symptoms continue, I suggest to consult your doctor for an alternative treatment.
