Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
The pain in abdomen after a fall in bathroom can be due to one or combination of the following:
-
Blunt injury abdomen can cause inflammation, swelling or so inside the abdominal cavity or in the retro-peritoneal structures.
It can cause injury to the abdominal wall muscles due to spasm or
hematoma.
This can be confirmed by clinical examination and
ultrasonography of the abdomen, retro-peritoneal space and abdominal wall.
The treatment will obviously depend upon the finding.
CT scan may be required if in doubt.
Take a PPI like
Omeprazole, anti-inflammatory medications like
Ibuprofen if it suits you if there is no distension of abdomen, nausea or vomiting.
If such symptoms develop then do not take anything orally and consult a Doctor or go to ER for clinical evaluation, examination , investigations and proper management.
