How To Treat Arm Injury?

My husband fell last week hitiing his arm very hard, it immediatly swelled up just aabove his elbow, turning red, pruple and blue within a few mintues also with a huge knot. now is whole arm is swollen and blue, i feel sure he has a blood clot, what should we do?

Hi,

There seems to be a big collection of blood under the skin caused by this injury. It may cause pressure symptoms on the nerves/vessels. Take him to the ER or hospital for proper treatment.
