my mother in law is suffering from arthritics, she has lots of pain how to control the pain, and she has swelling in her knee's, hands almost all the joints, will you pl suggest me how to reduce the pain and swelling.

I want to get few blood investigations for her like crp.esr and ra factor to see what kind of arthritis she is having and according to that we can plan further management. if arthritis is not rheumatoid then it can be degenrative and then she will need different treatment so according to that we can plan further management.
