Hi my name is sandra a couple weeksago I fliped a very heavy coffietable over and when I was12 I broke my arm im 44 know , I thonk it rebroke and I hurt my shoulder too im tuffing the pain out but my arm is swelling and the pain is traveling to my collarbone if not treated whats the worst that can happen an what do u think thx for ur time
As with the history, I don't think this will be a broken shoulder bone again. This might be now a soft tissue injury like the glenoidal labrum or the Rotator cuff injury. Due to both of the mentioned injuries there is possibility of having a swelling of the arm and pain in collar bone.
Taking up a orthopedist opinion is advised. He may look for an x-ray or an MRI if required post the clinical examination. The arm will be rested in the swing for few days and also physiotherapy will be advised for shoulder rehabilitation.
If ignored than there might be changes in the overall joint function and also might be fluctuation in Blood pressure which may actually be not related to cardiac. But may get misunderstood with this. I will advice you to take the wise decision.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
