General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to an injury of the foot. An X-ray is needed to check for a fracture. Meanwhile, I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to treat the pain. I also suggest using cold compresses for local application. I recommend to maintain the foot immobilized.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
