How To Treat Cat Bite In Kids?
hello doctor, my son 5 year old. he was bitten by cat 6 months before.so doctor advised to give anti rab injection. so we gave 3 dose. 0th day, 3rd day,7th day. after gave 2nd dose injection (3rd day) that place like black colour. then little bulge was there. after 5 months little pus,then little blood came from that place. no paining was there. if we touch only little pain is there. what we should do now doctor.

Hi,
Presence of a bulge with pus and blood oozing indicates secondary infection there. Keep the area clean and dry, and apply an antibiotic cream like Mupirocin for 5 days. If not getting better by then, kindly take him to doctor, as this will need oral antibiotics in addition.
