How To Treat Diarrhea And Small Amount Of Blood Discharge And Frequent Urination?

Hello, For the past week or so I have been noticing that my stomach has been upset, and I feel nauseous but hardly at all compared to a week ago. I just noticed yesterday that my lymph nodes in my groin are swollen (I also have poison ivy but I just received steroids for it). I also noticed that my stools were first yellow, stringy diarrhea, but now they look more normal. However, this whole time my toilet paper would be a mixture of yellow with a very small amount of blood and occasionally a piece of brown. I was confident that I also had an anal fissure but it went away on its own, and I had cut down on my water intake two weeks ago when college started (I have frequent urination due to stress). I apologize to other readers about how graphic this is but I just want an accurate opinion from a doctor about what I may have. Could this be simply because of my rapid decrease in water intake, or is this some sort of infection? Thanks, Nolan

Hi thanks for contacting health care magic.

You could have simple gastritis or ulcer.
Omeprazole can be taken for few days.

Get your stool examined for parasites.like amebiasis or giardiasis.if present albendazole or metronidazole may needed.

If pus cells also seen then shigella infection could be there.antibiotic needed for it.also do widal test for salmonella.

Avoid stress. For exam no need of taking stress.try yoga, meditation and exercise daily.regular water intake necessary for maintaining hydration and proper kidney function.so take daily 2 to 3 litre water daily.

If still you have constant abdominal pain then endoscopy can be done for further work up.It might reveal inflammatory bowel disease or non specific gastritis or h.pylori ulcer.

I hope your concern solved.

Take care
