How To Treat Diarrhea Mediated Stomach Bloating And Appetite Loss In A 1 Year And 10 Months Old Child?

my 1yr and 10 months old son is having a diarrhea and vomiting. we treat him with ercefuryl suspension and e-zinc for three days,it effectively stops vomiting and frequent waste discharge but the problem now is he has a bloating stomach which he always complain and he never eat any of foods we give. what should i do?

Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM.
you may try some anti flatulant drops like dicyclomine and simethicone drops 3 to4 times daily.
You may also do burping after feed so that he brings out extra air.
usually he will feel better after few days.
you may consult pediatrician if needed.
