How To Treat Dull Pain In Buttocks And Left Foot Post Disc Surgery?

Hi I had a herniated disc + canal stenosis at L4 &L5 disc surgery. Dr has also implanted separate prothhesis in my l4 and l5. I felt pain free for 3 days after surgery. But now after 2 weeks I usually feel some dull pain in my buttock and left foot .Is it normal to feel such pains.? Whhat shhould be done? my name is mahmood and I am 67 years old.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The herniated disc and canal stenosis at the level of L4 and L5 will cause symptoms in the region supplied by the nerves at this level.
The nerves emanating at the level of L4-L5 usually supply the lower limb aThe buttocks are not supplied by the nerves at level L4 or L6.
I suggest you to consult an orthopedician for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus treatment.
