How To Treat Episodes Of Diarrhea With Abdominal Pain?

I awoke today and within half and hour had an episode of diarrhea, with in the hour I starting getting stomach pain and pain in back right hand of my side, this continually got worse until I was double up in pain and sweating badly this continued until I took a strong pain killer and fell asleep, 4 hours later I awoke and the pain was again extreme resulting in more pain killers. The pain killers are now wearing of and the pain in my back is getting worse by the second, have you any suggestions, at the moment am unable, due to small children to go to emergency ward.

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Upper right abdominal pain radiating to the back along with diarrhea can indicate gallstones or acute pancreatitis. Urinary tract infection or stones are also possible.
If the pain can be eased with painkillers, this might be emergency condition which needs immediate medical attention. You may have bile ducts obstruction (stool gets whitish, urine gets darker), gallbladder inflammation.
Unfortunately there is not much you can do at home. Please visit your doctor as soon as possible.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
