How To Treat Excessive Belching Post Meal?

I am suffering from excessive belching after food. I was given 40mg to take after dinner as orginally the belching starts after dinner which is my main meal. If I eat more during the day, my belching occurs. Please can you advise what I can do as it is very frustrating.

Prevention is better than cure. Avoid food items with increased fat content. Avoid smoking/alcohol and spicy foods
