Hello,

If you are having fast heart beats it is indicative of low blood pressure, anemia, dehydration, excessive intake of alcohol & caffeine. Heart rates an also be triggered due to stress, anxiety, fear, love or anger.

An overactive thyroid, hyperthyroidism causes irregular heartbeats, it may complicate to AF, atrial fibrillation which may cause heart failure.

You are suggested to get T3, T4, TSH examination & get proper treatment for the thyroid dysfunction done. Visit ER, get physically examined. Get CBC (F, PP for blood sugar), Urinalysis, ECG, Echocardiography, Stress tests done to rule out any developing CAD.

In the meantime, stay away from oily, greasy food. Take home made food cooked in olive oil. Take whole grains, veggies, fruits & berries. Avoid alcohol, caffeine, addictions if any. Take adequate sleep. Stay well hydrated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
