Hello. Ive skipped 2 packs of placebo pills on logynon ed contraceptive pills, i have been planning to let this next period happen. So im on my 3rd pack now. However, i have been getting continuous spotting for the past 5 days, but only just today ive been hit with unusual fatigue. I was considering on stopping the pill to reset everything, but am unsure....i cant handle this fatigue, id rather have my period as normal when on the pill. What can i do to stop the fatigue?
It is very common to start having spotting when you are on the third pack and have skipped the placebo during the last two packs. It is just breakthrough bleeding. If you continue taking three packs in a row without a period in between, your body will eventually get used to it and the spotting will stop. The fatigue is probably not related to the spotting and the birth control, however, if you want to, you can stop the pack now, you will then have your period now, and then start another three months of pills and skip the placebo's again like you did the last time. If that helps with the fatigue, you've solved your problem. However, the fatigue may be due to something else entirely, such as a virus, emotional issues, or many other things, so if it doesn't get better, you should see your family doctor about it. Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any more questions.
