How To Treat Fever In A 2 Years Old Child?

Hello Dctor,
M 2 yr old son is suffering from fever from last 2 days.Today doctor prescribed us Zifi 100 2.5 ml twice a day for 5 days and ibugesic plus if required 5ml .He has fever 103 and it goes and come back.He advised us to admit him if fever doesnt get contrl in 24 hrs f medication.He had egg white boiled just before fever start .
