How To Treat Fever In A 9 1/2 Months Old Child?

I had given calpol drops to my daughter who is 9 1/2 months old and her weight is 9 kgs.. she had fever so I grieve calpol drops around 8 in the evening, she again has fever and I have given her meftal syrup 1.5 ml but hrs fever is not coming down.. what should I do

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Calpol should be given in a dose of 15 mg/kg body weight every 4-6 hourly depending on the fever.
Meftal syrup is given in a dose of 10 mg/kg body weight every 6-8 hourly.
Fever will subside if you give correct dose at correct intervals.
In addition you may give tepid water sponging to bring down the temperature promptly.
