How To Treat Fever In A Toddler After Going Out In Sun?

My 2 year 5 month old baby girl was out in the hot summer sun of delhi around noon time (peak heat time) yesterday and has developed temperature of 101.4F since last night. i have given her 3 doses - 6 hourly of crocin suspension since last night but the temperature is not coming down. What can i do?

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Fever due to heat exposure can be reduced by tepid sponging repeatedly along with paracetamol.
Keep her in the cool atmosphere (AC room) and give her cool drinks.
Plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration.
The above measures help reducing temperature
