How To Treat For High BP & Abnormal Swelling After C-section?
my daughter just had a c-section and was discharged with a lot of abnormal swelling and high BP. She is now back in the hospital with a very bad uterine infection and now they have said she has Ecoli in her bladder. Her BP is at 171/99 and they are not treating the BP with anything. Should she be treated for HB?

hi,,i think your daughter must be suffering from urine and not uterine infection as she has e coli in her bladder.yes she should be treated for high blood pressure and at the same time a urine test should be done to see for any proteins in urine.the drug of choice for treating her high bp will depend upon whether she developed hypertension in pregnancy or was a hypertensive before conception.take care.
