How To Treat Gastric Problem Of An Infant?

Hi,

my 3 month old baby boy has terrible tummy cramp things about 1.5-2hrs after eating, it wakes him in the night and is hard to settle in the day for any period of time too because of it. His tummy makes some awful squelchy noises when he's in pain and he does pass gas very loudly too. His poo can be explosive too! We have changed his milk which appeared to help somewhat but its very frustrating. He is now on Hipp Organic and was previously on Aptamil. He also has bubbles come out of his mouth around the same time after feeding.

Is this just gas?

what can I do?

many thanks

Hi
Welcome to healthcaremagic
This is gas.It occurs in 100% babies. But severity varies.Normally this problem decreases by the age of 4 months when size of stomach increases. There is no perfect medicine for it.You can give baby digestive enzymes containing drops for 15 days. This gives good result in many babies.I have seen that this problem is more in babies whose mother's eat a lot of fried stuff. So try reducing it
Happy to help you
Best regards
