How To Treat Heart Burn Permanently?

I have never had heartburn, now for the last few days it keeps coming back unless I take Zantac which makes it go away for a while but it seems to eventually come back. First night it woke me up was after i drank quite a bit about a week ago and sense then it has kept coming back. Today was the worst because I woke up with it and it was constant until i took Zantac. That lasted most of day till night it started again. I am 23 non smoker.

Hello,

Heartburn may be due to GERD.

Use tablet pantoprazole. Avoid spicy food and alcohol.

Avoid pain killer medication, Take high fibre diet and regular exercise. eat low quantity meals at night. Elevate the head end of the bed.

Get it done endoscopy for a hiatal hernia. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
