How To Treat Hyperthyroidism?

I have just been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. My tsh is extremely low t4, t3 only slightly elevated. I do have a small nodule that is going to have biopsy because of some internal vascularity. I am worried about this -but my family physician feels benign outcome is likely. I feel great - but very stunned to find I have this condition. Worried about treatments, etc.... What are your thoughts and should be overly concerned?

Hi welcome to health care magic....

Here you are having hyperthyroidism and for which FNAC has been done to rule out its nature and Bethesda grading according to which further treatment given...

You can have graves disease.... In which increase vascularity can be there. ...
For it's detection anti TSH antibody will be useful...

You might given propylthiouracil like drug for control of hyperthyroid....

According to tsh level dose is adjusted...

You can post your report for giving further comment...

Take care....

Advise : endocrinologist consultation for examination and further work up
