How To Treat Injury Mediated Watery Bump In A 3 Years Old Child?
Hi My son fell quite hard against the doorframe. He reacts normal. No complaints, he goes about life as normal. The fall was 2 days ago. Today as I gelt over thr bump again it felt hard but in the middle it feels watery and I cant seem to feel any bone underneath it. He is 3 years old. Any suggestion as to how serious it might be? I wasnt too concerned because he seemed to be okay. Now im going mad with worry. Thank you.

hi thanks for writting to HCM if there is no loss of cosciousness, vomitting, bleeding from nose, mouth or ear largely your child is o.k. But as far as,the feel that bone is missing is concern it's because the skull bone are separated(fontanelle) and not fused at his age.it's absolutely normal,so, don't worry. take care
