Hi,

Irregular menstruation can be due to thyroid dysfunction, anemia, weight gain or emotional problems. Get physically examined to rule out any vaginal/cervical cysts or polyps. Get USG (uterus) & other investigations are done to rule out any fibroid or signs of developing endometriosis. Your treatment will depend upon the severity of the disease detected.

In the meantime, stay away from stress, take iron & calcium-rich food, do exercises regularly, reduce weight & follow a healthy diet. You can take regesteron tabs under a PCP/Consultant.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K,
