How To Treat Low Creatinine Level And Black Stool?
My son has .66 creatinine level and black stools. Bun is normal. He is on a high protein diel that includes filets and he eats a lot of veggies, Virtually eats no carbs, He also has a stable stage II astrocytoma. He is seeing GI doctor on Friday, so besides a finger wave, urine sample, is there anything else he should ask the GI to do I told him the black stools and low creatinine would signal an endoscopy.to me. He hasn't had one in 5 years. He is under a lot of stress with the astrocytoma and his depressive spouse Would you agree?

How To Treat Low Creatinine Level And Black Stool?
Respected user , Hi Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.com I have evaluated your query thoroughly . * Black stools are in relation with GI bleed . * Creatinine level is normal , do not panic for that . * Should discuss with gastrologist - need of stool microscopy - coagulation profile , complete blood counts , ESR - ultrasound of abdomen & pelvis - endoscopy * Treatment depends upon the final diagnosis only . Hope this clears your query . Welcome for any further assistance . Regards.
