Hi I m a pediatrician and my fellow pediatrician has obsessive neurotic behavior sometimes gets angry on politicians for referring patients who don t need any medical attention... He is aggressive on people not following rules and many times gets memos for doing so... Kindly suggest the needful..
Hi & Welcome to HCM. I appreciate your concern for your fellow pediatrician. He should be properly evaluated by a psychiatrist for his alleged abnormal behaviors. Antidepressants (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors) like Fluoxetine, or Citalopram are found to be effective if he is diagnosed to be suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Hope this information will help you in getting him treated for his issue.
