How To Treat Pain And Knot On Chin Caused After Injury?

My 5 yr old hit my chin with her head extremely hard, teeth rattled and felt as if I was going to black out but didn t . Chin hurt to touch and now 9 days later I have a swishy knot on the spot she hit on my chin And it s hurting . Any idea what it is and what I can do about it?

Hi,

The blow must have been a very strong one. Even after 9 days, as the chin hurts, I recommend an X-ray of maxillary bone to rule out any fractures. Regarding the swishy knot, it might be swelling in the bone. Please go to a general practitioner and get X-ray done.
