Hello!

My name is Dr. Aida and I am glad to attend you on Healthcaremagic!

In her clinical condition, I would recommend having some bed rest and avoiding prolonged sitting or standing up position, which could trigger the pain. Local warm packs and physiotherapy can help improve the pain, coupled with NSAID (acetaminophen, ibuprofen, etc..) and a muscle relaxant (Flexeril). It is also important avoiding weight lifting (including baby carrying)in this period of time.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Best regards!
