How To Treat Pain Near Salivary Gland With Swallowing Difficulty?
I am having a pain in my back part of the tongue. 4 5 days back I had a throat infection, took a combiflam and It gav me a relief. Yhe infection went away , now I have pain i think near slivary grands, somewhere near my starting point of the tongue. I cant even swallow my saliva ,it pains alot. So its a continiuos pain process. Please help
Hello, Welcome Thanks for consulting HCM, I have gone through your query, as you have said you have painful throat, pain in swallowing saliva, yes it can be due to throat infection you Do Warm saline gargle 3 - 4 times in day Take medication for infection One Tablet Azithromycin once daily for 5 days One tablet Metronidazole twice daily for 5days One Capsule vitamin B complex once daily for 5days Continue this medication for 5 days if wont get relief then consult physician.
