Earlier today, whilst running, my ankle collapsed outwards and as I was running at a fast speed, I took 3 or 4 paces with it locked into that position. As soon as I was able to come to a stop, the pain was so unbearable I just fell on my back. My ankle went back to normal right before I got a sever cramp in my calf. The pain from the cramp and the ankle was enough to keep me at bay for 20 minutes. I carried on my day with minor pain and continued to run around and after being home for an hour the pain has just grown so rapidly and swelling has began to emerge in the top of my foot. The pain from the cramp is still active, although subtle. I m worried I might have aggravated my injury by continuing to be active but have no clue what the injury could be?
