How To Treat Piles?

Hi,

I recently had a bad attack of food poisening and since then have a very sore , red, and itchy bottom. I have piles which I have had treated in the past and the food poisening has aggravated the piles. I have tried the cream that I was given by the GP, but after 2 days it is no better. My stools are still a bit loose, so I am assuming that this is just prolonging the problem. I am trying not to wipe the area too much, but I am having to use moist toilet tissue as I am so sore. I have used this in the past and have not had a problem with it. Do you have any suggestions for me to get me over the worst of this soreness?. I don't want to bother my GP if there is something I can do to help myself.

Thank you

Pauline
