How To Treat Preterm Infants Suffering From Congestion And Cough?

I have twin boys who are 8 weeks old.now both r suffering from nasal congestion and cough..hav been on nasal drops..they r takin breast feed as well aptamil formula milk..Please can nyone suggest da medication..dey were preterm babies born with 31weeks 5days gestational age..and nw 8 weeks..

Hai.. As you mentioned they are feeding well I congratulate you on that as its a very good sign if a healthy baby. Nasal saline drops are the only symptomatic medicine which is required now. Be on watch for fast breathing > 60 per minute & grunting as these are the red flags which should alert you to go to emergency room. Happy to help anytime.
