How To Treat Redness And Pain In Leg Caused Due To Injury?

My daughter got kicked in the leg in Tae Kwon Do class today. When we got home and looked at it, the area was red and had 5 bumps that looked like mosquito bites. There doesn t seem to be any bruising yet and it doesn t itch, but she says it hurts and she is limping a bit. Could this be a coincidence?

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to the injury. I recommend to give her anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. I also recommend to use cold compresses for local application.
