How To Treat Severe Acidity And Gas?

Hello Doctor,
I am suffering from severe acidity and gas.I was advised by the doctor to take Cintapro tablets after meal. Can it be taken after meal ?? as the same doctor prescribed the same medicine to my spouse to be taken before meal. Hence want to know the right time to take this medicine.

Cintapro tablet can be taken before the meal. Avoid spicy food and alcohol drinking. Avoid gaseous foods like cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, and turnips. Drink more water per day. Consult a gastroenterologist for further treatment.
