How To Treat Severe Stomach Cramps And Constipation Caused By Fibroid Tumours?

I have been having severe stomach cramps off and on since October. They have ruled out gastritis. It started when I was very constipated and I took stool softeners, probably too many in one day. The pain was so bad I went to the emergency room where they gave me a GI cocktail which did not help. About 2 weeks ago I had another episode and lost 17 pounds in that week. Last weak I felt better and started eating and drinking again. But today the pain is back and it seems stronger than ever. I do feel nauseous but I don't throw up. I have a very sick feeling. I don't want to move or talk or do anything. My stomach growls and sounds like a thunderstorm is going on inside my stomach. I had a CT scan which showed constipation and fibroid tumors. This pain is horrible.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really understand your problem, you must have taken more than enough stool softener and this could be the cause of your abdominal pain otherwise pain due to constipation is very unlikely unless the fecal material being badly impacted, If I would be your doctor then I would treat you conservatively with the following drugs.
1) Dicyclomine 1 tab. three times in day
1) Chlorodizepoxide 1 tab. three times inday
If this fails to respond then further investigation may required
but I hope this will come around with the conservative line of treatment, take care and stop worrying, away from anxiety and depression, bye.
