How To Treat Severe Swelling In The Throat After A Prolonged Intake Of Ramipril?

Been on ramprimil for about 12 years. Had two swollen tongue attacks two years ago. Yesterday had severe tongue and throat attack. 12 hours in casualty, could have died. Off ramprimil, on high steroid in short term. Possible increase of atenolol. What is long term solution?

These are obvious severe allergic reactions and you must do allergic testing for all common medications and then find the one appropriate for you. You should also always have antialergic kit by yourself to prevent such further attacks.
