How To Treat Slight Pain In Abdomen After A Mild Injury?

Hello...I'm 4 months pregnant (41 years old) w/ my first child and fell on my upper stomach, ribs area about two hours ago. I fell on an empty box i was holding. I have some slight pain in my abdomen but it's slight-no bleeding. Boyfriend is an ER nurse on the way over to assess me. Should I think about getting checked out at the ER?

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion as the injury is over rib area it might not cause any problem to pregnancy.Take panadol for pain. And take rest. But if still the pain doesn't subside you might need to consult ER and ultrasound might also be needed.
Best regards...Dr.srilatha
