How To Treat Swollen Lips In A 13 Years Old Child?

My 13 year old daughter will periodically get a swollen lip (only on the bottom). I'm thinking some type of food allergy but hard to pinpoint as normal eating habits both times it has happened. She does put "Baby Lips" chap stick on her lips and I'm thinking this may be the culprit as it happened at the beach this summer and last night before going to bed. She awoke with a swollen bottom lip, but not a top lip? Not painful, just very swollen and looks like she got popped in the lip with a baseball.
Thank you

Hi,
From history it seems that she might be having some food allergy or might be due to lipstick she is using.
Stop using Baby lips and observe the condition.
Try to find out any food allergy by trial and error method.
Meanwhile give her antihistamine like Cetrizine or benadryl medicine as and when required.
Ok and take care.
