How To Treat Swollen Salivary Gland,voice Block,burning Throat,neck Pain,was On Antibiotic With No Relief?

I have a salivatory gland swollen for three months now. I was on antibiotics for 10 days. After the antibiotic therapy I lose my voice, I had a burning throat, dificulty laying flat to sleep. I'm on prednisone now and doxycycline, but I still have pain when I swallow left side head and neck pain. What is wrong?

Hi. 3 Months is a pretty long time. This suggests me of a reason attributable to the autoimmune disorder. This will cause dryness of the oral cavity and throat making chewing, swallowing and speaking difficult. I hope by this time you have consulted the ENT Specialist.
Continue steroid and Doxy.
