How To Treat The Burning Sensation On Knees Due To Fall?

I fell on my knee, on pavement a week ago. Have been able to walk on it and still can but it hurts to touch, even sleeping sometimes it hurts if I put any weight at all on it. Now there is a burning sensation and feels like a stretched ligament in it... Just wondering how to treat it.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

With history of fall on knee and pain on weight bearing , possibilities of bone fracture are there. Get examined by orthopedic doctor, on examination bony fracture or tear in ligament can be made out. X-ray may be needed for bone fracture.

Ligament tear depending on degree of tear management varies from rest to re suturing of ligament and immobilization for few weeks.

Hope this helps you.

Regards
