How To Treat The Large Lump On The Back Of My Son's Head?

My almost 3yr old son fell off the back of the lounge chair and has a large lump on the back of his head, it feels quiet soft, he wouldn't let me put an ice pack on it, didn't vomit, stayed conscious just upset. Should I see a Dr or will this be fine?? Help!!!

Any head injury in a toddler where a lump develops on the back of the head should be attended to at an Emergency Room as soon as possible with or without any of the other symptoms of brain trauma. Please find your way with your son ASAP. Even if it's been 24hrs or greater he should still be seen in the ER. If there are any other questions please write to me at bit.ly/drdariushsaghafi but do not delay in getting him looked at any further.
